Online Application Guidelines
The foundation only accepts online applications through this website. For more information, please check the foundation's deadlines.
No supplementary paper materials are accepted.
The foundation cannot accept applications from organizations with a fiscal sponsor or whose tax-exempt status is pending. Organizations applying for a grant must have received an IRS determination letter.

All applications must include:
1) Executive Director’s name, address, telephone and email
2) Name and title of person completing the application
3) Organization’s website

Provide a brief introduction of the organization including the Executive Director's name and contact information.

Provide a brief description of the organization's mission and history.

|
Provide a brief proposal which outlines the project/program, for which the funds are sought.
This should include a detailed account of how the funds will be utilized, a history of the program, and its goals and objectives.
All applicants are required to submit a proposal including organizations applying for General Operating Support.

Upload a comparison list of all received and projected funding sources for the years 2010, 2011 & 2012 as a PDF file (3MB file maximum).
1- Organize list by type of support: foundations, corporations, government, individuals, board of directors.
2- Include foundations and corporations name and dollar amount. For individual and board support, only list the aggregate dollar amount.
3- Specify if amount was received or if it is projected.
4- If organization is applying for Program Support, Capital Support or Other, please include funding sources for the entire organization and for the specific project/program.

The online application closes
at 5pm on March 15, August 15 and December 15. Please do not wait until the last minute to submit your application.
Upon application submission, applicants receive a confirmation email within a week. |
