* Organizations interested in applying for funding should begin by reading our mission statement, application guidelines and reviewing the list of past grantees to better understand the organizations and programs the Foundation funds.
The Foundation supports contemporary visual art, education, human services, and preservation/environment programs located within the five boroughs of New York City.
* The Foundation only accepts online applications through this website. Please see Deadlines section below for details.
* No supplementary paper materials are accepted.
* At this time, the Foundation is not reviewing any proposals from visual arts organizations that do not have prior funding history from the Foundation.
* The Foundation cannot accept applications from organizations with a fiscal sponsor or whose tax-exempt status is pending. Organizations applying for a grant must have received an IRS determination letter.
* In 2007, the Foundation transitioned to an online application. As a Foundation that supports the environment and preservation, we are delighted that the online application has helped us eliminate an excessive use of paper. |
